The Gahr Gladiators will challenge the Valley Christian Defenders at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gahr will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Gahr proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by seven) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Millikan 4-2.
Isabelle Gonzalez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Lea Hilbert was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Laroya, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, Valley Christian made sure to put some runs up on the board against Maranatha on Thursday. The Defenders blew past the Minutemen 18-2. The result was nothing new for the Defenders, who have now won eight games by ten runs or more so far this season.
Lesal Charley looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Valley Christian got a massive performance out of Tallulah Ireland, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run was Ireland's first of the season. Molly Douglas was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run.
Valley Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .780. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The victory got Gahr back to even at 10-10-2. As for Valley Christian, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Gahr hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Valley Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.9 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down. Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
