Volleyball Recap: Canyon View's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

It was a proper cat-fight when Canyon View challenged Kellis on Friday. The Jaguars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars. This was a revenge game for the Jaguars: when they faced off against the Cougars on April 8th, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Canyon View was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-13, 25-23.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Canyon View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Locklan Swanson, who had 19 digs and two aces. Those 19 digs gave Swanson a new career-high.

With the victory, Canyon View broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-17. As for Kellis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-14.

Canyon View has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Willow Canyon on the 29th. As for Kellis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Sunrise Mountain on the 28th.
