Basketball Recap: Van Buren County Takes a Loss

Van Buren County and Greenfield squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but Van Buren County had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 49-46 to the Greenfield Yellowjackets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Van Buren County's defeat dropped their record down to 26-8. As for Greenfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Van Buren County nor Greenfield have any future games scheduled.
