Soccer Game Preview: Wai'anae vs. Pearl City

Wai'anae is 0-7-1 against Pearl City since January of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Wai'anae Seariders are taking a road trip to take on the Pearl City Chargers at 4:30 p.m.

Last Friday, Wai'anae and Nanakuli finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Pearl City faced 'Aiea in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Pearl City fell just short of 'Aiea by a score of 4-3. The Chargers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Wai'anae's draw makes their record 1-6-2 this season. As for Pearl City, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Wai'anae might still be hurting after the 5-0 defeat they got from Pearl City when the teams last played back in January. Can Wai'anae avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
