Peoria had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took down the Centennial Chargers 73-57. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2024.

Peoria's record is now 5-2. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peoria will be home for the holidays to greet Kankakee at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Centennial, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Champaign Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
