Volleyball Recap: Baldwin Takes a Loss

Baldwin lost against Spring Hill back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Broncos, falling 3-0.

While Baldwin was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Spring Hill's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-14, 25-21.

Shelby Winkle went supernova For Spring Hill., getting 13 digs and three aces. The dominant performance also gave Winkle a new career-high in assists (six). Another player making a difference was Ainsley Aten, who had seven digs and one assist.

Baldwin has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20-2 record this season. As for Spring Hill, they pushed their record up to 11-16 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Baldwin has already played their next contest (against Ottawa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Spring Hill also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Tonganoxie.
