Preview: North Dallas Bulldogs vs. Conrad Chargers

North Dallas has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Conrad Chargers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Dallas has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Friday, North Dallas humbled Terrell with a 77-33 victory. Given North Dallas' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 724th, while Terrell is ranked 1480th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Dallas' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah Johnson, who scored 18 points. The matchup was Johnson's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tito Lazo, who scored 17 points.

Meanwhile, Conrad entered their tilt with Gateway Charter Academy with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Conrad blew past Gateway Charter Academy 76-56. Considering Conrad has won seven contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

North Dallas' win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Conrad, they have yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 9-3 record.

North Dallas didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Conrad in their previous meeting back in November, but they still walked away with a 72-68 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Conrad's Brian Singleton, who scored 26 points. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will North Dallas still be able to contain him? There's only one way to find out.
