Volleyball Recap: Albany Takes a Loss

Albany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Veribest Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-21, 25-17.

Albany now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Veribest, their victory bumped their record up to 19-7.

Albany and Veribest will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Lions will challenge rival Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Veribest is set to take on their familiar foe Water Valley at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
