Volleyball Recap: Valley's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Valley came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Western.

Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-18, 25-9, 25-12.

Kendyl Christman paced Valley's offense, picking up 23 kills. Christman got some help from Katelyn Queen and her 39 assists. Christman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Western, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against South Gallia on the 27th. As for Western, they will face off against Notre Dame at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
