Soccer Recap: East Catholic's Undefeated Season over After 14 Games

After flying high against East Hartford on Tuesday, East Catholic came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the South Windsor Bobcats by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but East Catholic couldn't quite close it out.

Having lost for the first time this season, East Catholic fell to 13-1. As for South Windsor, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-3 record this season.

East Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Avon on the 18th. As for South Windsor, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against RHAM on the 21st.
