Soccer Recap: Bonita Springs Comes Up Short

Bonita Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to the Palmetto Ridge Bears. If the Bullsharks were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bonita Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Palmetto Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.

Bonita Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Palmetto Ridge has also already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against Fort Myers on the 17th.
