Basketball Recap: Germantown Christian Takes a Loss

Germantown Christian lost against Spring Valley Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cardinals took a blow against Spring Valley Academy, falling 73-31. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-18.

Germantown Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ian Francis, who shot 75% from the field en route to 15 points, and Pedro Arantes, who posted ten points.

Germantown Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Spring Valley Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Germantown Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe East Dayton Christian at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Spring Valley Academy will challenge rival Dominion Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
