Basketball Recap: Middleburgh Takes a Loss

After flying high against Margaretville Central on Monday, Middleburgh came back down to earth. The Knights were dealt a 72-42 defeat at the hands of the Johnstown Sir Bills on Wednesday. The Knights lost against the Sir Bills in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 56-47 score last time.

Middleburgh's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Middleburgh will look to defend their home court on Friday against Edmeston Central at 6:30 p.m. As for Johnstown, they will challenge Cairo-Durham at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.
