It was a good run, but Academy of American Studies unfortunately witnessed the end of their 14-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 6-2 to the Port Richmond Raiders. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Academy of American Studies' loss dropped their record down to 14-2. As for Port Richmond, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-8.

Academy of American Studies does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Port Richmond, they will be staying on the road on Sunday to face off against Hunter College at 2:30 p.m. The Hawks are coming into the contest with five straight victories at home, so the Raiders will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
