Basketball Recap: South Panola Sets Scoring Season-High Against Grenada

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Panola). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Grenada Chargers 81-48. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Grenada lost, don't look at Carlei Brown. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamaya Hubbard, who posted four points and six boards.

The victory (which was South Panola's fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points per game. As for Grenada, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.

As of now, neither South Panola nor Grenada have any future games scheduled.
