Greater Lowell Tech came out on top against Tyngsborough on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Gryphons took their game against the Tigers 8-3. The Gryphons haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Greater Lowell Tech's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Tyngsborough, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greater Lowell Tech will face off against Montachusett RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Gryphons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tyngsborough, they will venture away from home to challenge Lowell Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
