Basketball Recap: Franklin Central Takes a Loss

Franklin Central lost against Zionsville back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Franklin Central Flashes took a blow against the Zionsville Eagles, falling 66-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Flashes have suffered since January 19th.

Maguire Mitchell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Zionsville, shooting 4-for-7 from deep and dropping a double-double on 22 points and 16 boards. Mitchell's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Jackson Tielker was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten assists.

Franklin Central has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Zionsville, their record is now 3-4.
