Patrician Academy had won four straight games and Ethan Carr did his part to make it five on Friday. The Saints put the hurt on the Monroe Academy Volunteers with a sharp 37-13 victory with plenty of help from Carr, who rushed for 197 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 156 rushing yards.

Remington Faile was another key player, rushing for 114 yards and one TD on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.

Patrician Academy's record is now 5-0. As for Monroe Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Patrician Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Morgan Academy at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Monroe Academy, they will welcome Clarke Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Volunteers will be up against the Gators' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.2 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
