Baseball Recap: Peabody Takes a Loss

Peabody lost against Hicks on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Peabody Warhorses might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 19-1 to the Hicks Pirates, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Warhorses have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peabody's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Hicks, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Peabody has already played their next contest (against Northside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hicks, they will square off against Simpson at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hicks knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Simpson likes a good challenge.
