Preview: Langham Creek vs. Cypress Lakes
The Langham Creek Lobos will be playing at home against the Cypress Lakes Spartans at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
After soaring to nine goals the game before, Langham Creek were a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They suffered a rough 4-0 loss at the hands of Cypress Ranch. Langham Creek has not had much luck with Cypress Ranch recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Cypress Lakes fell victim to Bridgeland's stalwart defense on Wednesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 1-0. It was the first time this season that Cypress Lakes let down their fans at home.
Langham Creek now has a losing record at 5-6-2. As for Cypress Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-3.
Everything went Langham Creek's way against Cypress Lakes when the teams last played back in March of 2023 as Langham Creek made off with a 3-0 win. Will Langham Creek repeat their success, or does Cypress Lakes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
