Volleyball Recap: Perry's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Perry entered their tilt with McKinley on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 2nd.

Perry had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-13.

Bailey Weirich paced Perry's offense, picking up 15 kills. Weirich got some help from Makenna Knop and her 27 assists. Melaina Knop and Adysen Hill kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Perry's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for McKinley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Perry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Canton Central Catholic on the 24th. As for McKinley, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against GlenOak on the 25th.
