Soccer Game Preview: Laker vs. Bad Axe + How To Watch

Laker is 1-9 against Bad Axe since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Lakers will square off against the Hatchets at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Bad Axe will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Laker extended their winning streak to seven on Wednesday. The Lakers' defense stepped up to hand Millington a 6-0 shutout. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Laker's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 151st, while Millington are ranked 325th).

Meanwhile, Bad Axe made easy work of Unionville-Sebewaing on Thursday and carried off a 5-2 win.

Laker's record now sits at 8-2. As for Bad Axe, their record is now 10-2.

Laker couldn't quite get it done against Bad Axe in their previous meeting back in April as they fell 5-3. Can the Lakers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
