Basketball Recap: Floral Park Memorial Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Floral Park Memorial had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the West Hempstead Rams by a score of 80-70. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The win (which was Floral Park Memorial's sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points over those games. As for West Hempstead, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

Coming up, Floral Park Memorial will take on Mount Sinai at 4:00 p.m. on March 16th. One thing working in Mount Sinai's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. West Hempstead does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
