Volleyball Recap: Hough Wins High-Profile Contest Against Lincoln Charter

Hough faced Lincoln Charter in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Huskies blew past the Eagles 3-0. The Huskies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

While Hough won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-12, 25-14.

Hough's record is now 7-1. As for Lincoln Charter, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Hough will be playing at home against South Iredell at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln Charter, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Mountain Island Charter on the 3rd.
