            Willow Canyon came into Monday's   match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with  a   5-1  victory over the Buckeye Hawks  on Monday.

Willow Canyon got a great performance from  Caleb Lemau as he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Those  nine  strikeouts gave  Lemau a new career-high.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Cameron Davidson, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.  Cole Hansen was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
Willow Canyon's win bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Buckeye, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 14 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record  this season.
