Basketball Game Preview: Hanford Falcons vs. Richland Bombers

Hanford is 0-10 against Richland since January of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Hanford Falcons will host the Richland Bombers at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Hanford is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 16th straight game dating back to last season on Saturday. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 71-64 loss to Southridge.

Meanwhile, Richland put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 87-71 victory over Chiawana. 87 seems to be a good number for the Bombers as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Richland pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Hanford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Hanford took a serious blow against Richland in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 80-37. Can Hanford avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
