Union had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Jenks Trojans. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Union's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked second, while Jenks are ranked 28th).

Union pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Jenks, Enid, and Jenks. As for the Trojans, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Union will take on rival Piedmont at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Jenks is set to face off against their familiar foe Enid at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
