It was a good run, but Rio Rancho unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Cleveland Storm by a score of 5-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Storm this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-3 back in March.

Rio Rancho's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 16-5. As for Cleveland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Rio Rancho will challenge rival Farmington at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cleveland is set to take on their familiar foe Cibola at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
