Baseball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 14-1 to the Elk City Elks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Elks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 on Monday.

Clinton saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Snider Dowdell, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Elk City, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-11.

Looking ahead, Clinton will square off against El Reno at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elk City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Altus at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
