Basketball Recap: Christian Family Educators Takes a Loss

Christian Family Educators's tournament run continued when they took on Golden Plains on Friday. Christian Family Educators took a blow against the Golden Plains Bulldogs, falling 61-24.

Golden Plains got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Josh Rath out in front who went 6 of 9 on his way to 13 points in addition to seven steals and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Patmon, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 13 points and four steals.

Christian Family Educators' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Golden Plains, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Christian Family Educators does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Golden Plains, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-39 victory against Western Plains on the 14th.
