Soccer Recap: Ripley Takes a Loss

Ripley managed to slip by Dyer County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Choctaws on Friday, falling 4-1. Ripley were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dyer County apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Ripley and nudges their season record down to 2-3-1. As for Dyer County, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6-2.

Coming up, Ripley will take on Henry County in a tournament on Saturday. As for Dyer County, they will host Haywood at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
