Football Recap: Goshen Takes a Loss

Goshen extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They had to suffer through a 59-0 loss at the hands of the Mishawaka Cavemen. The game marked the first time this year in which the RedHawks were not able to get on the board.

Douglas Diaz threw for 97 yards on 15 of 26 attempts. Spencer Elliott was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards.

As for Mishawaka, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1. The matchup marked their most dominant win of the season so far.

Landon Snyder produced another solid performance throwing for 74 yards and two TDs, while also punching in one touchdown on the ground. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024. Kamdon Putz was in the mix too, providing Mishawaka with one score.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Goshen will take on rival Wawasee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mishawaka is set to challenge their familiar foe Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
