Weslaco waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Alexander Bulldogs with a sharp 16-2 victory. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Weslaco's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Alexander, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.

Weslaco wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 19-2 win against Harlingen on the 21st. As for Alexander, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-12 victory against United on the 21st.
