Baseball Recap: Payette Pirates vs. McCall-Donnelly Vandals
Payette won against Weiser last Monday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Payette Pirates sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the McCall-Donnelly Vandals. The victory was familiar territory for Payette who now have three in a row.
Jahzyon Sylva was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Sylva was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-3.
