If Columbus wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sealy, they should've done a better job of containing Hale Demaree. The Tigers breezed past the Cardinals to the tune of 64-25 on Friday for which the team can thank Demaree, who shot 75% from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and three steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 16.3 points per game.

Another player making a difference was Garrison Ward, who went 7-for-10 on his way to 15 points and six assists. The contest was his third in a row with at least 15 points.

Sealy's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Columbus, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Sealy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-20 victory against Tournament Opponent on the 13th. As for Columbus, they will head out to square off against Bellville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
