Soccer Game Preview: Suncoast vs. Palm Beach Lakes

The Suncoast Chargers will square off against the Palm Beach Lakes Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Suncoast is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Jupiter on Thursday. They lost 4-1 to the Warriors. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Palm Beach Lakes' good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dwyer. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 311th, while the Panthers are ranked 78th).

Palm Beach Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Suncoast, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8-4.
