Softball Recap: Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran Lancers vs. Cadott Hornets

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Independence/Gilmanton, Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Cadott Hornets by a score of 6-3.

Rachel Kazemba spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kenzie Koenig was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Cheyenne Wales, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran's record is now 8-9. As for Cadott, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13.
