Avon didn't even let Notre Dame Cristo Rey on the board, marking Avon's second-straight 5-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 on Monday.

The victory made it two in a row for Avon and bumps their season record up to 4-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Notre Dame Cristo Rey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-8-1.
