Volleyball Recap: Lake Howell Makes It 17 in a Row at Home

With a playoff win on the line, Lake Howell rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Bishop Moore Hornets as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Silverhawks sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-16.

Tyler Windt paced Lake Howell's offense, picking up 13 kills. Windt got some help from Zac Crandell and his 29 assists. Crandell also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Jayke Dent, racking up three apiece.

Lake Howell pushed their record up to 27-2 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Bishop Moore, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-9.

Coming up, Lake Howell will take on Suncoast at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something the Silverhawks surely won't give up without a fight. Bishop Moore does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
