Basketball Recap: Taniyah Smith Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Mcadory + How To Watch

Parker won the last time they faced McAdory and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Thundering Herd came out on top against the Yellowjackets by a score of 51-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thundering Herd.

Parker got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Taniyah Smith out in front who shot 50% from the field on her way to 13 points along with six assists and five steals. The Thundering Herd are 4-2 when Smith posts five or more steals, but 3-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamichael Richardson, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 14 points.

Despite the loss, McAdory had strong showings from Alyssa Lessears, who posted nine points and six boards, and London Chaney, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds.

Parker now has a winning record of 7-6. As for McAdory, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Parker has already played their next contest (against Pleasant Grove), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. McAdory will take on Chelsea in a holiday battle at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
