Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Nate Downing stepped things up a notch to give Claymont the 'W'. Downing was unstoppable, pitching 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
