Volleyball Recap: Turkey Valley Comes Up Short

Turkey Valley lost against Southland back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 2-1.

Southland was led to victory by Ava Payne and Grace Krebsbach. Payne had 11 digs and two assists, while Krebsbach had four digs and two aces.

Turkey Valley now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Southland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

Looking ahead, Turkey Valley will host Clayton-Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southland, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Postville on the 11th.
