Aaron Sheffer posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over 6.2 innings pitched. He was dominant the last time he took on Vienna back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Sheffer also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Anna-Jonesboro is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-8 otherwise.
