If Snow Canyon wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Desert Hills, they should've done a better job of containing Kai James. Desert Hills put the hurt on Snow Canyon with a sharp 3-0 victory on Saturday thanks in part to James, who had ten digs and five aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Desert Hills not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Snow Canyon between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-20.

Desert Hills has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Snow Canyon's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-6.

Desert Hills has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Pine View on the 25th. As for Snow Canyon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Hurricane on the 25th.
