Volleyball Recap: Mount Notre Dame Comes Up Short

Mount Notre Dame lost against Seton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Mount Notre Dame lost 3-0 to Seton. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Mount Notre Dame has suffered since September 26, 2024.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 25-15.

Grace Jones had a dynamite game For Seton., getting 19 digs and ten assists. Those ten assists gave Jones a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Penelope Reisman, who had nine digs and two aces.

Mount Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Seton, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mount Notre Dame is set to square off against their familiar foe Ursuline Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Seton will challenge rival Mercy McAuley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
