             The Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against the Clover Garden School Grizzlies at 6:00  p.m. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Monday, Bartlett Yancey got the win against River Mill  by a conclusive  3-0.
 The final score came out to 25-8, 25-19,  25-11.
 Bartlett Yancey got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Lyndsey Smithers out in front who  had three  aces and 21  assists. That high mark didn't come from nowhere:  Smithers now  posted eight or more in the last 33 games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brenley Burr, who  had eight  digs.
 Bartlett Yancey  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 13  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in 12 consecutive  matches.
 Meanwhile, Clover Garden School beat Southern Wake Academy 3-1  on Thursday.
 Clover Garden School was staring down a 1-1 deficit headed into the third set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 18-25, 25-13,  25-7.
 Bartlett Yancey pushed their record up to 8-4 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road. As for Clover Garden School, their record is now 8-4.
