Basketball Recap: Mulberry Skates Past St. Paul with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against County Line, Mulberry was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 71-43 victory over the St. Paul Saints. The Yellowjackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

Mulberry's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for St. Paul, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Mulberry will take on Mountainburg in a tournament on Friday. As for St. Paul, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Western Yell County at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
