Thoreau was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 58-50 to the Zuni Thunderbirds. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Thunderbirds earlier this season, when they won 50-43.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Stetson Perry, who posted 16 points in addition to eight boards and four steals.
