Volleyball Recap: Haylee Boyle and Rilee Wells Secure Win for Kell

Kell not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since October 8, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Cambridge Bears 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Longhorns in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won six in a row.

Kell was led to victory by Rilee Wells and Haylee Boyle. Wells had 14 digs and three aces, while Boyle had 11 assists and nine digs. That's the most digs Boyle has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Kell was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are a perfect 4-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Kell's win bumped their record up to 22-19. As for Cambridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-21 record this season.

Kell and Cambridge are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Longhorns will head out on the road to face off against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cambridge, they will face off against Union Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
