It was a good run, but Point Loma unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 6-2 to the Granite Hills Eagles. The Pointers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Druw Frost was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run. That home run was his first of the season. Ben Waterman was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Point Loma's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Granite Hills, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Point Loma has already played their next game, a 13-6 victory against Montgomery on the 26th. As for Granite Hills, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-5 draw against Patrick Henry on the 26th.
